Rumors were swirling leading up to the NFL Draft, and even throughout the first round. Would the San Francisco 49ers trade away one of their star wide receivers, Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk? I never felt like they would trade either of them. Not because I have any inside information, but because it never made sense. Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle reported last night that, following the selection of wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, the 49ers were more likely to trade Deebo Samuel than Brandon Aiyuk. Although teams have shown interest in acquiring the versatile wideout, a trade does not seem imminent. "Regarding a potential Deebo Samuel trade: Right now, there does not appear to be a team that would meet the 49ers' asking price tonight," Silver shared via social media.
