Falcons win and 49ers will wait for Kyle Shanahan

The Falcons' offensive coordinator helped guide his team to Super Bowl LI on Sunday as his play-calling was part of a dominant performance in a 44-21 romp over the Packers in the NFC Championship Game. The 49ers have a second interview with Minnesota assistant general manager George Paton, although Arizona vice president of player personnel Terry McDonough hasn't been ruled out. NFL Network reported that CEO Jed York does not view the issue of roster control as a "major issue" and hasn't determined whether Shanahan or the GM will have final say.
