Per source, $57 million of Freddie Freeman's $162 million guarantee from the Dodgers is deferred from 2028 through 2040. Those deferments bring the value of the deal to approximately $140 million.

I had a feeling AA wasn't being entirely honest when he talked about how everything went down with Freddie.

Ronald Acuña Jr. was just on IG Live and according to our resident bilingual r/Braves user, he said:
— Baseball GIFs (@gifs_baseball) April 7, 2022
- He won't miss Freddie Freeman.
- They had friction.
- Freeman didn't care when he was plunked.
- He was overbearing.
- He wasn't someone Ronald could talk to ever.
