Gotta question some of the decisions being made by Kap and the FO.

They send Schmitt down because they want to give Villar an opportunity at 3B. Okay, fine. Then you don't start him on opening day for Flores? It doesn't make sense.

Bryce Johnson tore it up all spring training, has 143 Minor league steals, stole 30+ last year in the minors and you send him down at the 11th hour day before opening day (Johnson was in NY with the team) to make a claim 30 y/o Matt Beatty?

Now they sign Sanchez...

If they weren't so bad at attracting marquee talent, it wouldn't be as big of an issue but you have to question these moves. Feel like he's throwing darts.

we talking Sanchez?.. I'm not sure about his glove work, but he did get MVP votes in '17.. AS in '17 and '19.. kinda ancient history at this point, maybe a trip to Balco and he'll be back in the swing of things.

His offensive production made up for his bad defense. He doesn't produce offensively anymore

sound's like his last opportunity here, I don't know why they don't want to be patient, he's still cheap and has offensive upside if he can improve on contact
