I actually agree. I think the best way I could put it is that there are 6 guys that could be the 2nd or 3rd pick in most drafts. I very much like this draft, but the guys that have superstar potential (Wiggins, Embiid, Exum) won't be that from Day 1. That said...those guys that can hit the ground running like that are very rare. If you look at the superstars around the league, very few of them were game changers early on in their careers.

In full agreement. A deep class - you can be picking 5th or 6th and still have a great shot at landing the best or 2nd best pro.

I dont recall that Pete as I thought Davis was the clear #1 prospect that year and the no brainer to be #1. I do remember you however thinking Thomas Robinson and Shabazz Muhammad being cant miss prospects.

FWIW, I think Embiid would fit the "clear cut #1" description if not for the injuries. He's an absolute monster, and that's not just potential.

I think Anderson's game lands him overseas if he doesn't add a jump shot or bulk. He reminds me of a young Boris Diaw, before Diaw gained the weight and became a PF. If he can add the jumper, he can be a point forward the way Hedo was. I don't think he can play straight PG in the NBA because I don't think he can defend that position. Very intriguing prospect though.
