Update. With aldon smith redoing his deal we are about $11m under the cap before knowing dockett Nelson and celek terms.

Not actually $6M, it's $5.59M saved, a player making $435K should replace him on the top 51.

So do we even need to cut brooks? We have close to what 28 million? Now we better resign cully or cox and we can go after a de like hardy if our team has the will too.

Nah. Restructure and keep him. He's good depth and he always shows up for Drew Brees.
