I'm not upset at all, I hope it makes some kind of change, hopefully with that egg all over Jed's face right now, he can force so real changes....
Levis sucks. They should never have moved the team to freakin santa clara.

Fans were weak at Candlestick too. This is nothing new...

I don't think it was this bad...

I'm no scientist or anything, but I would be willing to guarantee that the crowd noise was a lot louder at the Stick. Maybe some of that is to do with the team on the field, but it seems like the building itself just isn't designed to be loud, which is a shame when all we ever hear about is the "12th man." If their stadium wasn't designed the way it is, they would just be regular fans without the gimmick of the 12th man labelling

don't worry guys the 49ers will get them back by scoring a touchdown at the end of the game to win then going to seahawks logo to take a dump.

While I would love to see someone take a dump on the seahawk logo at midfield, I don't think the Niners are gonna be able to score a game winning TD against them. Unless they get a pick 6 mayyyybe. But offensively? LOL

I've been to both. Sadly its no gimmick in Seattle at CenturyLink. You can't even hear your friend standing next to you. At the new stadium (Levi's) its like the fans don't know when to cheer and shut up, and you can converse without screaming into someone's ear. The strangest thing I've witnessed at the new stadium is that 9er fans are cheering and shouting when the offense is on the field. Very weird. Its almost like its a neutral field.

Yeah I don't get why people all of the sudden are so pissed about this. SF fans have been what they are forever.

And there's really only a handful of teams that have crowd noise looked at as some huge benefit to the home team. And there really isn't some historic view as a necessary component to prolonged success.

The guy running the music at the games is a complete moron, though. He's clueless. We're driving in the 3rd quarter and seattle got flagged for something. The Niners are out there in the huddle and the dude is blasting "Big Girls Don't Cry". I assume to mock seattle for being penalized? Yeah, forget that our team is trying to call a play in the huddle. Play your stupid song that's a lame ass joke anyway, instead of making it easier for our team to communicate.
Haha so I guess us Niner fans are just dumb and don't know how to cheer? Well the reason I call it a gimmick is bcuz to me, I would think that the architectural design of Centurylink Field has to have a lot to do with the noise level at that place. Im not saying the fans aren't yelling and being loud, but I would love to see what would happen if you let another team play it's home games in there and see how loud it is then. It just seems to me that the ppl of seattle take too much credit for being "super human" or something with the ability to yell louder than other humans from other cities in the US, when I bet the building itself should get a lot of the credit for the volume there.
Cant blame the hawks for this one. If the 49ers would have shown up and played they would have been the ones eating the turkey and fans wouldn't think twice about it.

eh but it's never loud at Levi's man

What's crazy is that in order to have a real home field advantage you have to have something for a visiting team to prepare for. In Seattle it's the noise in Green Bay it's the cold. For the niners at the stick it used to be the slop of the field and the wind. But now that's gone. It reminds me of Minnesota where they went inside away from the cold but finally realized the cold was their advantage. So let's go back to the stick

They should amplify the sound of the roller coasters at Great America and pipe it in even though they aren't running.

All I was saying that in comparison to the two venues is that Seattle is a lot louder. I've been to a couple of different venues (Stick included several times) and it looked like a bunch of rich non-football fans were hanging out and texting during the game at Levi's stadium instead of rooting on their home team, I was disappointed in the fans. Sure, the Seahawk fans are resembling a pussified version of Raider fans with their costumes but the roar and whatever gusto the fans had at the Stick seems to have died at Levi's Stadium. The food is great and if the game stinks you can watch porn on your phone with their fantastic Wi-Fi. Have you been to the new stadium yet, amigo? If so, I'd like to know what your experience was.

Haha the porn idea isn't too bad. Yeah I know what you were saying, I would agree that it seems like the atmosphere at Levi's this year has been pretty unspectacular. The point I was tryin to make is just that I am sick of seattle fans putting the #12 on everything because to me it makes it seem like they think they are somehow blessed with the physical ability to yell louder than other fans of other teams when I really think the design of the stadium allows the crowd noise to somehow be amplified. But there is no denying that it is way louder there, you can tell just by watchin games on tv.

I have been to 4 or 5 games at Candlestick. Most recently I think was actually against seattle in 2006. The Niners won and it was a good game. And I had an obnoxious seattle fan with me so that made it even better. I remember the atmosphere at The Stick being decent, but I have not yet been to Levi's. I have heard from multiple people now pretty much what you said about it. Rich people that may not necessarily care as much about the actual game than the true Niner fans. It's a shame really. The Stick was a dump, and it was miserable to get out of that place and the parking lot after the game, but at least they had a good atmosphere in there. It's too bad the new stadium couldn't have been built in SF. I live in AZ currently but I would like to check out a home game one of these days. I have been to 2 Niners Cards games here in AZ in the last 2 years I have been livin here, and it gets pretty loud in there. Yes I was at this year's game in week 3 unfortunately. Spent some good $ on some amazing seats only to watch the Niners show up and sh*t on themselves.
Apathetic fans are worse than bandwagoners IMO.

We'll kick ass two weeks in a row.

Jed's neice pretty much tweeted that Roman is "toast".
How come none of the players or 49er staff stop it? i find it hard to believe that a team during the Eddie D era would have allowed this to happen.
