Highly doubt Colts will take a QB at no.1 unless Manning's career is over. If they land no.1 pick, they will trade it to a team that needs a QB...and get a LOT of picks in return.

the colts will not pass up on another eventual franchise qb falling in their lap again, manning is 35 coming off serious neck surgeries. peyton cannot play forever and even if that means luck sitting for 3-5 they wont care, teams dont have to worry paying 50 plus in guarantees to 1st overall picks anymore. if the colts get the 1st overall pick they'll still have a chance to add impact players in the 2nd and 3rd. the only teams that will not take luck if they have the 1st overall pick are the panthers and jags, im willing to bet that the colts or cheifs will be where luck makes his home

Not too sure about that. If the neck injury is 100% healed by the end of this year, Manning can easily play another 4-5 years, if not more - since he has been injury free for all of his career (till this year) and has hardly been hit for most of his career. Colts can still win multiple championships with him, if they give him good protection and a decent defense. If they have the no.1 pick - I'll trade down 11-12 spots and pick up 4-5 high draft picks over the next 2 years and give Peyton all the tools to win championships.

Anyway, I don't think they will end up with the no.1 pick. They play teams like Titans and Jags twice a year...and there are worse teams out there. I don't see Miami winning a whole lot in that division.
