It is possible, but pure speculation on your part and for self-serving reasons.

(reasons being to solidify your personal opinions of QB)

One thing seems clear... no matter the reasons, Crabtree having such an alleged attitude is not acceptable. You get paid and committed to, you go out and play hard for whoever is under center or on the sideline coaching.

Other elite receivers like Calvin Johnson seem to be fine with lackluster QB play. And you don't here him complaining about his QB play. Larry Fitzgerald had awful QB play last year but still seemed to produce. A competent QB makes life a lot easier for a WR but it shouldn't be a make or break situation.

We finished 22nd in pass attempts last season. Amongst the teams ranked 20-32nd there was grand total of 2 1,000 yard receivers (Dwayne Bowe, Mike Wallace).

Add in the fact that Vernon is our number one target not Crabtree and you see why Crabs was never going to rack up yards in Singletary's offense. I'm giving him a shot with Harbaugh hopefully him and Alex can patch things up because that's probally our best shot this year.

this is a very well brought up point

anyway i like to compare our WR and TE situation to the colts

we both have star TE and 2 decent starters

although clark was injured last season

we can say VD and clarks productionw as about the same

as for wayne and crabtree there is a big difference (clsoe to 600 yards on 40 more receptions)

as for morgan and garcon (both are acually 6 round picks

morgan only had 7 less yards then garcon with clsoe to 20 less receptions

anyway the point im trying to make is that since were in the bottom of the league in nfl passing attempts and im assuming colts would be in the top 5 in that the production level (mainly yards are extremely similar for VD and clark and morgan and garcon even though there has been a significant amount of less receptions(and attempts)

so with harbaugh as our HC and what seems like an actually playbook and with the ability to put together a gameplan we should see an increase of number in pass attemps and we may even see 2 (VD and crabtree ) receivers hit the 1000 mark and i think morgan maybe extremely clsoe to that 1000 mark as well

It's a nice thought but

Peyton Manning, Alex Smith

I'm sorry but there's not a coach in the world who can make Alex Smith competitive to Peyton Manning and that's if Alex had Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Greg Jennings and Vernon Davis to throw to with Dallas's throwback offensive line.

Harbaugh will make a difference but it'll be in the rushing attack. Singletary was talk, Harbaugh knows how to implement it. Don't look for us to be the Colts because we're not going to be a pass happy offense.

He was a bad pick. But we are stuck with him now. He doesn't have much trade value. What has he done? His #'s aren't that great. He has an over inflated ego and lacks practice and work ethic.
