Yeah. He will automatically be labeled as a slot receiver, because all the white WRs tend to be slot receivers. Wes Welker, Stokley when he was with the Colts, and I can't think of that many others... the rookie Shipley I guess too?

Thank you.

Sometimes this board really needs a Captain Obvious. So many Niner fans are in complete and total denial.

It ain't just a river in Egypt.

I can't believe this guy got a thread -- let alone a contract.

or next Vinnie Sutherland

Hopefully he does well, and if he does maybe he could be used something similiar to Vinny Sutherland when he was on the team years ago. You guys remember that dude?
I remember vinny. I was a fan of his in college too. He went to my favorite college.....PURDUE!

anthony gonzalez was a first round pick....

I played against Kevin Jurovich in the MTAL championship game back in highschool, 2003. He was the quarterback and safety for Valley Christian High. He threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown, had a interception for a touchdown, and also returned a punt for a touchdown. I just remember he was REALLY FAST.
This guy active this week? Always good to see local guys get a chance!

Texas Tech > SJSU
I saw him in a few plays in preseason and he looked very quick. He should have fully absorbed the Johnson offense by now, and if he has sticky hands we could have a keeper. We ought to find out. I know, I am sounding like fans of Nate Davis and Troy Smith - thoughtless exuberation. Sorry.
