Holmgren is a pipe dream at the moment. Come this time next year, he'll be coaching the Redskins.....he's already stated that he wants back in as a coach.

He'll be coaching in Calfornia, but unfortunately it's going to be for the Chargers. I think he wants to be in SF, but we have Singletary so it doesn't look like it's going to happen, although personally, I'd take Holmgren over Singletary.
Geez...sure is enticing...

If we're not gonna be competent on the offensive side of things, it sure would be nice to be starting our drives from our 40, rather than our own 20 a good deal of the time. Would be have to break the bank for him, though?

Why trade for Josh Cribbs when you can get a Spiller type that will be a dual threat at RB and KR?

Unintelligent comment for a "veteran" webzoner.

First: We'll carry 3 RB's...Gore and Coffee are givens, and what have we learned from the past few years? Robinson's value is measured by his leadership...so he'll get that 3rd spot.

Second: Are we talking about CJ Spiller? Do you think a guy like that will just fall into our lap in the 3rd round?

Third: Really, how many good RB/KR threats are there in the league? Name me one who's GOOD other than Leon Washington. Usually the RB/KR's in the league are too "skat-backy" to be used consistently in the runnings game (like Washington and the Steelers' Stefan Logan).

i really hope coffee get's his head in the game because i really don't think sing will care that he spent a 3rd round pick on him when it comes to cuts next season. once he get's used to the game a little more and if he uses gore type field vision, he could finally be a factor in a 2 RB set.
I keep having to look at the name again to see that it wasn't JOE Cribbs! *lol*
