I see no point in taking any TE at #31.

a) we have Vernon Davis, so drafting a good second TE should not be 1st round priority.
b) I dont feel picks 32, 33 the Ravens (Dickson and Pitta) OR the Jags (Lewis + many other important holes) will take a TE, therefore should we want Ertz, take him #34.

- what happens if VD falls to injury?
- we do utilize 2 TEs frequently.. why not have 2 that can be dynamic weapons?
- other teams could still jump our 34 pick to take Ertz.

( I would only take Eifert at 31 though )

You cant really pick based on "What if player XX gets injured". If so, then we better take a QB incase Kaep goes down cause no one wants to watch Colt McCoy take over. If you have a pro bowl player at a position, drafting the same position in 1st round doesnt make sense. I realize we use the 2 TE sets frequently, Celek is serviceable OR taking a TE later rounds seems like the right move. I also like Eifert a lot better.

TE (at least to me) isnt a 1st round priority. I will take whoever management agrees is the top defensive player at #31. No WR either.

If the we trade up, were going after:

1.Star Lou.....
2.Sheldon Richardson
3.Tavon Austin
4.Dee Millner

If we dont:

1.Matt Elam.
