A.J. Green bandwagon. WR in round 1?

Yes to BPA and yes to Green. Top 10 picks should always be BPA.

As to QB the best option for the niners already looks like it will be in the second round. I doubt the highest rated couple QB's are left on the board.

I just hope we don't deal our 1st rounder to the Eagles for Kolb.

don't want to burn a pick on a trade up in the 1st
lol of all our needs, we're going to use our first round pick on a receiver? With no QB, secondary or pass rush?

Just pointing out that there is no exact science to drafting. Walsh would very often go after specific players by trading up and down, sometimes in the same round. If Harbaugh sees a player he really likes, he may do the same thing. Just hope his results are as good!

WR is not a big need right now. We need OLB's and CBs badly.

Except that he trusts Harbaugh completely on QBs. So...

OK--Getting Green would solidify our recieving corp, but we need a pass rusher and DBs more. My point would be using FAs to get starting quality at the need positions and a game breaker with the first pick. If the game breaker is Green great. If it is a DB/OLB fine as well. WR and OLB would likely start sooner than CBs. What we can't afford to do is fill needs with rookies...we did that for the OLine last year and it was a mess. They will be good down the road but not likely their first year or two.

Hypothetically if we dumped Clements (if he does not renegotiate) Peterson/Prince at 7 will be starting sooner rather then later.

Also I have been advocating for a DB for a long time
Green is a freak and he probably wont be there at 7. if he is im totally for drafting this guy. BPA.
