Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots (+7) - Bill can't stop the Bills Bills 31 - Patriots 13

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals (-5)

Why SF Wins: Perhaps the change from Nick Mullens to C.J. Beathard will give the 49ers the shot in the arm that they desperately needed. Although it's unclear what Shanahan is thinking, apparently there is a good chance that TE George Kittle will play in this game as well. A few fresh faces spark the offense, while the sturdy defense returns and the 49ers remember to cover WR DeAndre Hopkins.

Why SF Loses: Arizona is a better football team. The 49ers coaches are struggling and C.J. Beathard is the 49ers' new hope at the quarterback position. None of this adds up to a 49ers victory. Arizona has everything to play for, and the 49ers are just praying for no more injuries.

Prediction: The 49ers pull off a Christmas miracle and gift their fans with a surprise win. Ho Ho Ho Faithful. Merry Christmas! 49ers 28 - Cardinals 20

ESPN recently asked 12 of its analysts and writers to identify the best overall free agent signing this offseason. Five of them named the San Francisco 49ers signing former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Javon Hargrave as the winner. Rapoport: Sam Darnold will 'more likely than not' be 49ers' Week 1 starting QB

By David Bonilla

Ah, San Francisco 49ers offseason quarterback drama. We haven't had that since … well, last offseason. If there is one thing you can count on with the Bay Area team on a yearly basis, it's quarterback drama. However, he is recovering from his March 10 surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) tear in his right elbow. That will keep him off the practice field until maybe early September. That timeline could extend beyond September. It's just too early for
