The San Francisco 49ers are hosting their 2026 local pro day today at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, giving regional prospects a chance to showcase their skills in front of team decision-makers.
Local pro days allow NFL teams to take a closer look at nearby talent. Participants typically come from local colleges or have strong regional ties, giving the 49ers an opportunity to evaluate potential late-round picks or undrafted free agents up close.
These attendees do not count toward the 49ers' 30-player limit for pre-draft visits, as teams can host an unlimited number of local prospects.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan, general manager John Lynch, and a contingent of coaches, scouts, and front office personnel are on hand to assess the group.
The 49ers look to uncover some hidden gems in this year's rookie class. A total of 47 players are scheduled to participate in today's one-day workout at Levi's Stadium.
