However, his release from the Panthers may have abruptly changed the unemployed wide receiver's point of view. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, San Francisco is one of six teams that Johnson and his agent are thought to be concentrating on. The others include Green Bay (who many feel are the front runner), Seattle, Tennessee and both New York teams. The question is, how interested are the 49ers?
Johnson (6-4 / 211 lbs) is entering his 12th season in the NFL. He has played for the Jets, Buccaneers, Cowboys and last year with the Panthers. In 2006, he had 70 receptions for 815 yards and 4 touchdowns.
