Team inquires about Redding
Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the San Francisco 49ers have inquired about Detroit Lions DL Cory Redding, but were told he was not available.
Meachem visited with team
During an interview with KFFL.com, NFL Draft prospect WR Robert Meachem (Tennessee) said he had a pre-draft visit with the San Francisco 49ers.

The Len Eshmont Award is voted on by the players and is given to the 49er who best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team. Eshmont, who coached at Navy and Virginia following his career in San Francisco, died in 1957. The award was established that year.

John Lynch committed to remaining the 49ers' GM, improving team
On Wednesday, John Lynch was asked if he plans to remain the San Francisco 49ers general manager in 2023. The question was presented because Amazon courted Lynch last year, hoping to lure the executive back to the broadcast booth for Thursday Night Football games. Lynch turned down a significant pay raise to remain with the 49ers because he felt there was unfinished business.
