Analysis
Lance Zierlein of
NFL Media had the
following to say in his scouting report:
Iworah's tape is a little inconsistent at this time and his inability to mirror and match targets with consistency is troubling as a man-cover cornerback. While I see the explosive athleticism, his actual cover skills need enough fine-tuning that he may have to spend a year stashed on a practice squad.
DraftInsider.net had the following to say about Iworah in their scouting report:
Iworah is an athletic cornerback who needs to fine-tune his game but has the ability to line up in dime packages on Sunday.

The 49ers have maintained that they are comfortable holding onto Garoppolo if they cannot strike a deal to their liking. Everyone realizes, though, that Plan A is to trade the quarterback for something worthwhile rather than letting him fulfill his contract on the team and leave as a free agent in 2023. This offseason, Waugh was promoted from director of college scouting and football systems to his departing title with the 49ers, so the role was short-lived.
