The San Francisco 49ers are holding their local pro day for draft-eligible prospects from Bay Area universities this afternoon at the team's facility in Santa Clara. The prospects will have an opportunity to work out for and meet with the 49ers coaching staff and scouts.

The San Francisco 49ers recently worked out a familiar face. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team took a look at cornerback Jason Verrett, who spent 2019 through 2022 with the Niners. However, multiple injuries limited his ability to contribute to the defense consistently.
Wilson reports that San Francisco also worked out defensive backs Xavier Crawford, Michael Ojemudia, who was signed to the Los Angeles Rams practice squad, and Kendall Sheffield.
