During an interview with OregonLive, former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. stated that a transition from the Ducks' offense to a Chip Kelly offense in San Francisco 49ers could possibly be a little easier for him. However, he also stated that he is ready to learn no matter where he goes.
As far as his talk with Chip Kelly at the NFL Combine in February, Adams said that Kelly did not have much to say. He simply told him to keep fighting and keep battling. "Just keep having fun and enjoy the process."
"Adams ran the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds, jumped 28 inches in a vertical leap test and threw close to 40 passes to receivers Bralon Addison and Byron Marshall. Adams is projected to be a late round draft pick," says Jen Beyrle of OregonLive.
