According to a report by Albert Breer of NFL Network, the Philadelphia Eagles have traded away LB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, and their 13th overall selection in next month's NFL Draft to the Miami Dolphins for their pick. Who is this San Francisco 49ers related? That pick happens to be the eighth overall selection, just one spot behind San Francisco.

If the 49ers have a desire to trade down in the first round, the team now has to figure out how the Eagles, and not the Dolphins, are going to pick and determine which teams may want to jump ahead of Philadelphia. Also interesting is that Philadelphia happens to be the former home of new 49ers head coach Chip Kelly, who may have a little insight into the thinking of his former team.
