Late night talk show host Conan O'Brien took the stage on Saturday night to host the NFL Honors show at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. It was an awards show to recognize the NFL's best players, performances, and plays from the 2015 season.
O'Brien's opening monologue included shots at numerous NFL players and franchises, including the 49ers. After mentioning the hiring of new head coach Chip Kelly, he said, "The 49ers offensive unit says they're excited to adopt Kelly's fast pace style of losing." He also said that an Oakland Raiders move to Las Vegas could tarnish the reputation of Las Vegas.
