According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, the San Francisco 49ers interviewed Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter on Saturday.

It was reported earlier in the week that the 49ers had requested permission from the Buccaneers to interview Koetter for the head coaching vacancy, but that Tampa Bay had failed to grant the request. Koetter was thought to be a candidate for their own head coaching vacancy.

The 49ers have an interview with Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson scheduled for Sunday. Jackson is considered to be the front-runner for the 49ers' head coaching job.
