According to the Boston Herald, the San Francisco 49ers are interested in free agent wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth.

Free agent wideout Donte’ Stallworth wrapped up his free agent tour with a trip to Miami yesterday.

Though a decision was expected today, the San Francisco 49ers reportedly jumped into the fray late and may delay the proceedings a bit. Stallworth has stated his desire to return to Philadelphia, but the Eagles signed ex-Patriot Bethel Johnson yesterday and will host free agent Kevin Curtis today.

49ers announce roster moves ahead of schedule release

The San Francisco 49ers officially announced the signings of defensive lineman Shakel Brown and offensive lineman Chris Hubbard to one-year deals. Both signings had been previously reported. To make room on the roster, the team waived defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV and offensive lineman Corey Luciano. The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.
