Thomas to visit Friday; Clements contacted

According to ESPN, once midnight hit on the east coast, the 49ers were one of the more aggressive teams at setting up Friday visits for free agents. They have confirmed that the 49ers are expecting a visit from linebacker Adalius Thomas, which was expected.

The 49ers, along with the Browns and Titans, have also been in communication with cornerback Nate Clements.

No team has more cap space available than San Francisco.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the San Francisco 49ers have reached an agreement with cornerback Ambry Thomas on his four-year rookie deal.
