Injury Updates: Ahmad Brooks returns, Carlos Hyde limited

As reported earlier today, LB Ahmad Brooks returned to practice for the San Francisco 49ers. He missed Sunday's game against the New York Giants due to the death of his sister.

RB Carlos Hyde was on hand today for warm-ups prior to team practice. However, he went into the weight room once team practice started. His injury – a sore foot – is not believed to be serious. RB Reggie Bush, who is still recovering from an calf injury suffered during week 1, remained out.

T Joe Staley (knee) missed his second straight practice.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters via a conference call on Monday, the day after his team's 11-10 loss to the Denver Broncos. He provided injury updates from the game. T Trent Williams Trent Williams exited the game in the third quarter after suffering an ankle injury. Shanahan confirmed that the offensive tackle suffered a high-ankle sprain. Quarterback Trey Lance wasn't the only San Francisco 49ers player who suffered an injury during the team's 27-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Head coach Kyle Shanahan jumped on a conference call with reporters this afternoon and provided injury updates, as he typically does on the day after a game.
