The San Francisco 49ers started yesterday with the release of players like DT Darnell Dockett and G/C Joe Looney. Looney was the final player left on the roster from the 49ers' 2012 draft class.
Earlier today, the 49ers traded a conditional draft pick to the Baltimore Ravens for C Nick Easton, an undrafted free agent out of Harvard.
Today's releases started with G Andrew Tiller and QB Dylan Thompson. Thompson may still have a good chance to make the team as a member of its practice squad.
Teams must reach a 53 player roster by today at 1 PM Pacific. Including those from yesterday, the following is a list of players that the 49ers have released or no longer count toward the roster with the latest roster casualties at the bottom.
