The San Francisco 49ers kicked off organized team activities (OTAs) this week. The media received their first glimpse of practice today and were allowed to record videos from the Tuesday session until team drills started. Wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings were two of the noticeable absentees. Aiyuk is awaiting a contract extension from the 49ers, while Jennings has yet to sign his $4.89 million restricted free-agent tender. 49ers won't play international game during 2024 NFL season

The San Francisco 49ers escaped having to play an international game for another season. The Bay Area team won't be required to travel overseas or compete in Mexico during the 2024 season. The NFL has released its lineup of international games, and the 49ers aren't among the teams scheduled for long-distance journeys. San Francisco's last international game was in 2022, where they triumphed over the Arizona Cardinals in Mexico. Their prior overseas venture was to London in 2013, when they clinched a victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
