The San Francisco 49ers have signed linebacker Steve Beauharnais according to former NFL scout John Middlekauff.
Beauharnais was a seventh-round selection by the New England Patriots in 2013 and spent the last two years with the Washington Redskins.
Coincidentally, the signing comes on the same day of the
reported arrest of 49ers star linebacker Aldon Smith, who was allegedly booked for a hit and run, DUI, and vandalism. Smith posted $26,000 bail this morning. "The situation that happened could have been handled differently," said Smith
as he left Santa Clara County Jail.
