49ers rookies report to training camp on July 27

San Francisco 49ers rookies will report to the team for training camp in Santa Clara on Monday, July 27.
The rest of the team will report on Friday, July 31.
The full team will hold their first practice on Saturday, August 1 at 7 PM. The practice, which is open to the public, will be held at Levi's Stadium following the Charlie Wedemeyer All-Star Charity High School Football Game, which kicks off at 4:30 PM.
Those attending the high school prep game are welcome to stay for the 49ers' practice.
This is first year head coach Jom Tomsula's first training camp. He will lead a 49ers team that has seen numerous roster changes due to free agent departures and retirements.
The 49ers open preseason against the Texans on Satuday, August 15 in Houston. They kick off the regular season at home on Monday, September 14 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Tuesday was the 49ers' only full practice of the week. It was held inside Levi's Stadium, which has the necessary lighting to accommodate a night practice. While the team will hold a walk-through on Wednesday, the media will not have access to that session.

Guard Aaron Banks is working his way back from a turf toe injury sustained on October 30 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Jon Feliciano has been playing in his place. It took nine years, but the San Francisco 49ers finally got some payback on Thursday night for the Seattle Seahawks feasting on turkey after a win at Levi's Stadium in 2014.
The Seahawks' 19-3 win over the 49ers on Thanksgiving in 2014 was the last time either team played on Thanksgiving before Thursday night, and after that game then-Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Richard Sherman dug into the postgame turkey at the 50-yard line of Levi's Stadium at a time when the rivalry between the two teams was at a peak.
