49ers rookies report to training camp on July 27

San Francisco 49ers rookies will report to the team for training camp in Santa Clara on Monday, July 27.

The rest of the team will report on Friday, July 31.

The full team will hold their first practice on Saturday, August 1 at 7 PM. The practice, which is open to the public, will be held at Levi's Stadium following the Charlie Wedemeyer All-Star Charity High School Football Game, which kicks off at 4:30 PM.

Those attending the high school prep game are welcome to stay for the 49ers' practice.

This is first year head coach Jom Tomsula's first training camp. He will lead a 49ers team that has seen numerous roster changes due to free agent departures and retirements.

The 49ers open preseason against the Texans on Satuday, August 15 in Houston. They kick off the regular season at home on Monday, September 14 against the Minnesota Vikings.

The San Francisco 49ers entered the offseason with several questions after key figures, such as Jimmie Ward, Mike McGlinchey, Samson Ebukam, and Charles Omenihu, departed in free agency, creating the possibility for position battles in organized team activities(OTAs) and training camp.
