San Francisco 49ers rookies will report to the team for training camp in Santa Clara on Monday, July 27.

The rest of the team will report on Friday, July 31.

The full team will hold their first practice on Saturday, August 1 at 7 PM. The practice, which is open to the public, will be held at Levi's Stadium following the Charlie Wedemeyer All-Star Charity High School Football Game, which kicks off at 4:30 PM.

This is first year head coach Jom Tomsula's first training camp. He will lead a 49ers team that has seen numerous roster changes due to free agent departures and retirements.

The 49ers open preseason against the Texans on Satuday, August 15 in Houston. They kick off the regular season at home on Monday, September 14 against the Minnesota Vikings.

In addition, they hope to have found a replacement for Dee Ford in second-round draft pick Drake Jackson. There remains uncertainty about who will be playing alongside Jimmie Ward at safety, but the team has options. While the 49ers drafted two offensive linemen—Spencer Burford and Nick Zakelj—the interior of that line is among the team's most prominent question marks heading into the 2022 season.
