The San Francisco 49ers on Thursday revealed some of the team's plans for its Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The initiatives include options for players and coaches to show support for "Black Lives Matter." The following was provided by the 49ers Communications staff. SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The San Francisco 49ers will host the Arizona Cardinals at 1:25 p.m., Sunday, September 13th, at Levi's Stadium. The game will be televised on FOX and in-market fans can stream the game on the 49ers app or 49ers.com on Safari mobile web only. Additionally, there will be coverage available on radio broadcasts in the Bay Area on KGO 810, KNBR 680 and KSAN 107.7 FM The Bone and in Spanish on 49ers.com. GAMEDAY

49ers-Cardinals: Kyle Shanahan hopes Deebo Samuel can practice on Friday; he and Brandon Aiyuk remain game-day decisions

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan joined KNBR on Friday morning and shared some injury updates. All eyes during practices this week have been on the statuses of wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk (hamstring) got back on the practice field on Thursday, but Samuel remained sidelined as he recovers from a Jones fracture in June. Shanahan was asked about Samuel's status for Sunday when the 49ers open the season by hosting the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium. "I haven't gotten an update from the trainers yet," Shanahan said on the Murph & Mac show, "but I'm really hoping they're going to get out and practice today. Second-year wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been ruled out of the San Francisco 49ers' Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. He did not practice this week and has not received any on-field work since suffering a Jones fracture in June.
