It was previously reported that quarterback Blaine Gabbert would be returning to the 49ers with a two-year, $2 million contract. It turns out that it is a bit more than that.
He made about $2 million last year with the 49ers. Gabbert will be making $1.45 million in 2015 and $1.75 million in 2016. He had a $500,000 bonus and has a $200,000 roster bonus on the fifth day of the 2016 league year.
He also has incentives in the deal, including one for the Pro Bowl.
This was first reported by Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun and retweeted by CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco.
