ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the Washington Redskins are setting up interviews for their defensive coordinator position with two San Francisco 49ers coaching staff members.
Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio and defensive backs coach Ed Donatell are the Redskins' targets among the 49ers.
Fangio io is one of two internal coaches that has been interviewed for the 49ers head coaching position. The other is defensive line coach Jim Tomsula.
Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area notes that, since they are both under contract, 49ers general manager Trent Baalke must grant permission for them to interview for other jobs.
