OG Larry Allen (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, Oct. 4 in a limited fashion. He is listed as doubtful for Week 5 but there is a chance he'll play.
TE Vernon Davis (leg) missed practice Wednesday, Oct. 4 and is out for Week 5.
