RB Anthony Dixon signs with the Bills

Former San Francisco 49ers running back Anthony Dixon has signed with the Buffalo Bills. Dixon announced the signing himself on Twitter.

It was never really expected that Dixon would return to the 49ers as the team showed no interest in keeping him and were willing to let him explore his options. Running back is one of the deepest positions on the roster for the 49ers.

Dixon was drafted by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the 49ers, he has had 458 yards on 148 carries, and 8 rushing touchdowns.
