According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, the Baltimore Ravens have expressed "some level of interest" in New England Patriots free agent wide receiver Julian Edelman.
Edelman, a Bay Area native, is spending today with the San Francisco 49ers. The 27 year old was drafted by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Last season with the Patriots, he had 105 catches for 1,056 yards and six touchdowns.
Edelman ranks as the second best available free agent wide receiver according to Rotoworld. He is right behind Hakeem Nicks, who the 49ers have also shown some interest in.
