Jan 12, 2014 at 10:20 AM--

San Francisco 49ers fullback Will Tukuafu was injured during the 49ers' first drive against the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Divisional playoff game in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tukuafu's leg was caught under a Panthers defender during a tackle.

Tukuafu was signed in December to replace Bruce Miller, who was placed on injured reserve.

Tukuafu had spent the much of the 2010 season on the 49ers' practice squad and was promoted to the active roster on December 18, 2010. Tukuafu played in 18 games over the next two seasons and recorded 15 tackles and one fumble recovery.

FOX reports that Tukuafu is questionable to return.
