San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid remained on the turf after a violent collision with Carolina Panthers fullback Mike Tolbert in the third quarter of Sunday's game. After a few minutes, he was finally able to sit up and then walk off of the field.
Reid, a rookie, was drafted by the 49ers in the first round of this year's NFL Draft. Prior to leaving the game, he had one tackle against the Panthers.
