By David Bonilla

Pro Football Focus looked at the entire 2022 NFL Draft and identified some of the biggest draft steals. The San Francisco 49ers didn't own a first-round pick but did have nine picks starting with No. 61 overall in the second round. Thank you Jesus for making this happen! We love you BP! We're always routing for you❤️💛😍🏈 #49ers

The then-San Diego Chargers drafted Verrett (5-10, 188) out of TCU with the No. 25 overall pick in 2014. He registered five tackles during Week 1 this past season before suffering a season-ending torn ACL, landing on injured reserve for the sixth time in eight seasons.
