Sep 26, 2013 at 8:54 PM--

San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Joe Staley went down with an injury late in the 4th quarter against the St. Louis Rams. Staley could be heard screaming while laying flat on his back on the field.

Both teams gathered around Staley following the injury. However, Staley was able to walk off of the field with a little help.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, Staley said "I'm OK" to teammates and was walking on his own power. Numerous team beat writers reported that Staley was seen exiting the X-ray room and walking normally.

The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Green Bay Packers Saturday night, in the snow, at frigid Lambeau Field to punch their ticket to the NFC Championship game. After the victory the team knew they would be facing either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Los Angeles Rams, depending on the result of their Divisional Round matchup Sunday afternoon. The Rams jumped out to an early and decisive lead against the Bucs, and not long after, tweets began appearing about Ticketmaster limiting ticket sales to individuals with Los Angeles-area addresses only. The Giants are reportedly hiring Buffalo Bills assistant general manager Joe Schoen to be their next general manager, per NFL Media's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. Peters interviews twice for the job—once on Monday and again on

The San Francisco 49ers are just one win away from returning to the Super Bowl. They'll have to go through the Los Angeles Rams to get there. On Saturday night, the Niners won their third consecutive road game, a stunning 13-10 victory against the Green Bay Packers at a frigid Lambeau Field. They had to wait a day to learn who their next opponent would be. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hosted the Rams at Raymond James Stadium in the other NFC Divisional Playoff game but fell to the visiting NFC West champions by a score of 30-27. That sets up a third 49ers-Rams matchup this season, with San Francisco winning the previous two. The 49ers won 31-10 in Week 10, and then again in Week 18—a thrilling 27-24 overtime victory that clinched the Bay Area team's playoff
