Earlier tonight, it was
reported that 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was interviewed by San Francisco police about allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in the city following the team's 45-31 victory over the Green Bay Packers.
The incident reportedly occurred on January 13, the morning following the team's victory.
Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group reported on Twitter that Crabtree was not seen with the team as they arrived in Atlanta.
In response, Mindi Bach of CSN Bay Area reported on Twitter that Crabtree was indeed seen at the team facility earlier today.
According to the 49ers, Crabtree did make the trip to Atlanta and the team is aware of the investigation. Trent Baalke, the team's general manager, issued the following statement:
"We are aware of the allegation against Michael and understand that he has fully cooperated with authorities ... The 49ers take such matters very seriously. We will have no further comment at this time as the legal process is ongoing. Additional requests for comment should be directed to Michael's attorney."
The incident is being investigated by the Special Victims Unit. The detectives interviewed Crabtree with his lawyer present and it has been said that he has been very cooperative.
Crabtree, who had nine receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers, is expected to play on Sunday in the NFC Championship game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Update
Here is a photo of Crabtree arriving at the hotel in Atlanta. His arrival was missed by all of the 49ers beat writers that were there waiting for the team. Crabtree may have simply used a different entrance to avoid questions.

Analyst: 49ers QB Brock Purdy still not top-20 after Week 1

It's safe to say that the San Francisco 49ers cruised to victory in Week 1, defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-7 in a dominant victory where the team started the game with four consecutive scoring drives and five straight three-and-outs, creating an early 20-0 lead for the road team.
Offensively, the 49ers saw strong performances from running back Christian McCaffrey, who rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown, wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who caught all eight of his targets for 129 yards and two touchdowns, and Deebo Samuel, who caught five passes for 55 yards.
But, the offense was executed at a very high level, at least in the first half, courtesy of quarterback Brock Purdy, who had one of the stronger halves of his career over the first 30 minutes in
"They are basically fielding the NFL All-Pro team": Where the 49ers stand in Week 3 power rankings
The San Francisco 49ers have now won 12 consecutive regular-season games, just three games shy of tying the 15-game record set between the 1989 and 1990 seasons. Sunday's 30-23 win against the Los Angeles Rams may not have been the prettiest of victories, but Kyle Shanahan's squad improved to 2-0 on the season and sit alone atop the NFC West.
The 49ers managed to beat their division rival despite quarterback Brock Purdy having arguably his most unimpressive game as a starter. He finished the game 17-of-25 for 206 yards and a passer rating of 93.1, a new regular-season career-low as a starter.
Meanwhile, running back Christian McCaffrey leads the NFL with 268 rushing yards and ranks second only to wide receiver Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings in
What Makes the 49ers a Special Team?
In Week 1, the San Francisco 49ers traveled across the country to face the tough AFC North Pittsburgh Steelers. When the 49ers lost the coin toss and the defense took the field, something special was unveiled in Pittsburgh. Though the team overall played well in their 30-7 victory, five specific players made the fans extraordinarily love this team.
Brock Purdy finished the game 19-29 for 220 yards, 7.6 yards per attempt, and two touchdowns. Coming off of a repaired UCL, many wondered how Purdy's arm would hold up when the games counted. The quarterback was pressured, hit, and sacked in this matchup, yet he still found a way to lead his team to two touchdowns. Both of Purdy's touchdowns came in the first half and went to wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. His most impressive throw
