Brewer, Ibekwe sign with 49ers; Interest in Eaton
The Associated Press reports the San Francisco 49ers have signed WR C.J. Brewer to an undisclosed contract. He received an undisclosed signing bonus as part of the deal. He was recently with the Albany Conquest, of Arena League 2 as an offensive specialist. Brewer, currently recovering from a broken collarbone, caught 15 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns in three games for the Conquest.
According to presstelegram.com, Onye Ibekwe signed a two-year, free agent's contract with the 49ers on Sunday night. He will attend the team's mini-camp in Redwood City this weekend. Ibekwe is 6-foot-6 and 260-pounds. he played for the Long Beach State basketball team and transitioned to tight end to join an NFL club.
KGMB9.com reports the 49ers are interested in undrafted rookie free agent OL Brandon Eaton (Hawaii).

The San Francisco 49ers announced they have re-signed linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles to a one-year deal. They opted not to tender the defender, initially a restricted free agent.
