Packers will visit with LB Rasheed

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers will visit with free agent linebacker Saleem Rasheed. He is a client of agents Carl and Kevin Poston.

The 49ers have not made much of an effort to resign the backup linebacker. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft.

49ers host LB Mychal Kendricks for a visit, re-signing a possibility, per report

The San Francisco 49ers hosted linebacker Mychal Kendricks on a visit, per ESPN's Field Yates. The team initially signed the veteran on August 16. He landed on injured reserve on August 24 due to what was described as a "turf-toe sprain," and the team released him on September 2 with an injury settlement. Yates reports that a reunion might be on the horizon. The 49ers hosted LB Mychal Kendricks on a visit.
