Ross Tucker believes 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo to Panthers remains a possibility
By David Bonilla

Former NFL offensive lineman turned sports broadcaster and analyst Ross Tucker doesn't "believe for a second" that the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks will enter Week 1 of the 2022 season with one of their current quarterbacks as the starter. Instead, he feels both teams will make a move to prevent that from happening.
I don't believe for a second that the Panthers & Seahawks are going into Week 1 with their current QBs on the roster.— Ross Tucker (@RossTuckerNFL) May 16,

Around the NFL writer Dan Hanzus provided his updated power rankings after the 2022 NFL Draft.
The San Francisco 49ers remained at the No.5 spot, with no movement post draft. Hanzus offered no comments on the 49ers draft selections but he did comment on the availability of All-Pro Deebo Samuel. Hanzus writes:

Jason Poe is a bit of a unicorn.
The offensive lineman from Mercer stands 6'1" tall, weighs 300 pounds, and runs a 4.89 40-yard dash. He also put up 34 reps on the bench press, a 31.5" vertical jump, and a 9'3" broad jump.
Jason Poe is an athlete.
To hear him tell it, he's an interior offensive lineman slash fullback. And when you watch him run routes, you can see that he absolutely could profile at fullback. Just for reference, current 49ers' Pro Bowl FB Kyle Juszczyk ran a 4.77 40-yard dash at the combine at 6'1" and 235 pounds.

By Rohan Chakravarthi

After a countless number of drafts where the 49ers built their roster via the first round, San Francisco dove into uncharted waters last weekend, as they had their first selection at No. 61 overall, since they traded up for their franchise quarterback in Trey Lance last offseason, sending their last year's first-rounder, this year's first-rounder, and next year's first-rounder as a part of the package.
However, that doesn't mean the 49ers weren't productive in the draft, as they selected nine players in an extremely deep draft class, where some players that were expected to go in the middle rounds fell out of the draft altogether.
