Roger Phillips of the Oakland Tribune, reports that the San Francisco 49ers are still in the running for free agent defensive end Demetric Evans, according to his agent.
The 6'3", 285 lb defensive end has spent the past two seasons with The Washington Redskins. Prior to that, he spent his first 3 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Evans has appeared in 48 total career games, made 73 tackles and sacked the quarterback 6.5 times.
