Today, the 11-3 San Francisco 49ers will travel to face the 7-7 division rival Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.

The 49ers are coming off of a 20-3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers while the Seahawks are coming off of a 38-14 win over the Chicago Bears.

Alex Smith is set to make his first start since suffering a gruesome and life-threatening leg injury on November 18, 2018. The story of the Washington quarterback, who started his career with the San Francisco 49ers, has been an inspiration. Many fans across the NFL landscape will be pulling for Smith on Sunday when the Washington Football Team faces the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. 49ers activate WR Kendrick Bourne from reserve/COVID-19 list

The San Francisco 49ers announced that the team has officially activated wide receiver Kendrick Bourne from the reserve/COVID-19 list. General manager John Lynch announced this morning during an interview on KNBR that Bourne would travel with the 49ers for the team's road game this weekend against the New Orleans Saints. "The good news is he'll be traveling with us to New Orleans," Lynch said. "The challenge there, he's been out of the building since last Tuesday and been at home. ... He's been in quarantine.
