Kyle Shanahan has yet to wear his official red Shanahat this season. If he hasn't by now, he probably isn't going to. The San Francisco 49ers coach has come close, though. He switched to a red version of the team's script hat during the team's Week 9 contest against the Green Bay Packers, but it wasn't the Shanahat. The 49ers sit at 4-5, which places them in last place within the NFC West. So Shanahan's choices of headwear haven't been as lucky as last season, and the coach is running out of options.
