Braylon Edwards signs with 49ers

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that free agent wide receiver Braylon Edwards and the San Francisco 49ers have reached a one-year, $3.5 million agreement.

In 2010, Edwards played in 16 games, starting 15. He had 53 receptions for 904 yards and 7 touchdowns.

On Edwards' Twitter page, he wrote the following:

It's official #Team17 we have moved to the bay. I'm a proud member of the San Fransisco 49ers

New 49ers safety Donte Whitner replied with the following:
