It took six weeks and a matchup against the Oakland Raiders, but the San Francisco 49ers finally earned their first win of the 2010 season with a 17-9 victory over their Bay Area rivals.
Quarterback Alex Smith was 16 of 33 for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Frank Gore had 149 yards on 25 carries.
Next week, the team will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina to face the Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.
