Valerie and I would like to take a moment to thanks our family, friends, and the fans of 49erswebzone.com for the valiant effort they made voting for us in the
MYfm 140.3 Wedding in a Week contest. Unfortunately, the power of the Webzone was not quite enough this time as we did not win. However, we are moving forward with our original wedding plans and just wanted to take a moment to thank all the fans here for everything they did. All of you were very supportive in this endeavor.
Like many of you within this community, we have made a lot of good friendships on this site. Friendships that we hope will last a long time. We appreciate your support of this site and of us.

Fred Warner: You can't draw up 49ers QB Brock Purdy's story any better
Maybe one day, Hollywood will make a feature film about Brock Purdy, the last overall pick in the draft who stepped in for the San Francisco 49ers after two starting quarterbacks went down with injuries and perhaps led his team to a Super Bowl championship.
That may be looking too far ahead. Right now, the Purdy magic has to continue through Sunday, and the 23-year-old has to become the first ever starting rookie quarterback to make it to a Super Bowl. To do that, he'll need to lead the second-seeded 49ers past the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.
Purdy has played a significant role in each of the 49ers' last eight games, including these last two playoff games. All wins. San Francisco isn't winning despite Purdy, though. The rookie
Rapoport: Brock Purdy injury robbed fans of competitive matchup, made 49ers-Eagles an unfair fight
The Philadelphia Eagles might have been the better team in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. But were they 31-7 better than the San Francisco 49ers? Probably not. Of course, we are all left wondering what might have happened had rookie quarterback Brock Purdy not been hurt in the first quarter.
The 49ers felt they had prepared a great game plan for their bout with the Eagles. Unfortunately, that quickly got thrown out the window.
"We were really excited for today, and we really wanted an opportunity to play that team," head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game. "They played great, and they did good things, but we wish we had a little bit better
Nick Bosa voted the 2022 49ers Webzone MVP by fans
Every year, we poll 49ers Webzone fans to determine the San Francisco 49ers' most valuable player in the eyes of The Faithful. This season's MVP was probably clear even before the voting started. Although, there was a chance that Christian McCaffrey, the star running back acquired from the Carolina Panthers ahead of the trade deadline, could steal away a significant number of the votes, and he did.
Still, defensive end Nick Bosa's dominant 2022 campaign was enough to solidify his lead among 49ers teammates. The star pass rusher earned over 43 percent of the fans from fans. McCaffrey came in second with nearly 29 percent of the votes, while rookie quarterback Brock Purdy earned almost 21 percent.

The San Francisco 49ers are set to host the Dallas Cowboys at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, January 22, at 3:30 p.m. PT in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
